Ultraviolet Units, Filters and Servicing.

Uv's provide a broad spectrum of effective sterilization of your water supply
however without proper maintenance of the system the effectiveness of it
can be compromised, here is some things to consider when owing a
Ultraviolet Sterilizer, if you are unsure of some things please ask on your
next service.

• If you upgrade your water pump be sure the flow does not exceed the flow
  spec of the UV.
• Filter specs must be adhered to. Guardia Safe filters and filtration of 1 micron
  or less must be achieved, and must be replaced when dirty or the filter can
  can rip, split, tear and lose its integrity.
• Units without light meters must be regularly cleaned at least twice a year.
• Crystal sleeves should be replaced at least every 4 years.
• A regular tank clean to reduce turbidity and keep bacteria levels from
  getting to high.
• We recommend Pentek Flow Plus filters to clean the water of dirt particles and cysts cleaning the water down to .05 micron, these high flow sub micron filters are a perfect match for any UV unit to ensure the UV light will penetrate the water properly giving a better sterilization process.
